Roulette, a long time tradition
in European casinos, is an exciting game that
is easy to play. While the exact origins of
Roulette are not known, it is thought to have
originated in China while the modern game was
developed in Paris in the 18th Century. The
name "Roulette" is derived from the french word
meaning "little wheel".
Object of the games
The dealer (also known
as the croupier) spins a roulette wheel containing
37 compartments in one direction, while rolling
a ball into the wheel in the opposite direction.
The winning number is determined by where the
ball comes to rest among the 37 compartments.
Playing the games
The Bets
Select a chip denomination and
place your bets on the table in the various
betting areas. Please be aware of the bet
limits displayed on the table. Inside bets
consist of all the numbers on the betting
layout (0 to 36), while the outside bets
consist of all the other betting areas.
When placing an inside bet that covers more
than one number, the maximum bet limit is
multiplied by how many numbers are covered.
For example: a corner bet (4 numbers) allows
for a maximum bet that is 4 times the limit
of a single number.
The Wheel
Once your bets are placed, click
the Spin button to start the wheel spinning.
Bets cannot be made or removed once the
wheel is spinning. Payouts will be determined
based on which numbered pocket the roulette
ball comes to rest in.

Placing Bets
As you move your mouse across the betting
area of the Roulette table, you'll notice
that a text message will appear toward bottom
right corner of the screen displaying the
current number covered by your mouse pointer
and the bet placed on it. The text will
appear in blue if the bet is sufficient
and in red if the bet is less than the minimum
required (or invalid) for this spot. An
upside down red arrow also points out any
invalid bet on the table. Each time you
left-click over the Roulette table, you
will place your current bet amount on the
table -- adding to any chips that might
already be there. To remove your current
bet amount from the table, right-click on
the table.
You can change the denomination of the chips
you will be adding or subtracting from your
bet by selecting one of the chips on the
left side of the screen above the status
panel. The chip that is highlighted represents
the amount by which you will change your
bet.

For example: If you wish
to place a $25 bet, make sure the $25 chip
is selected by clicking on it. The $25 chip
should now be highlighted. You can then left-click
in any of the betting areas to place a $25
bet. If you left-click a second time in the
same betting area, you will add another $25
chip to your bet for a total of $50. You could
then select the $5 chip and click in the betting
area to increase your bet to $55. Right-clicking
in the betting area peforms the opposite function
by removing the amount from your bet.
Spinning the Wheel
Once the minimum bet has been placed on
the table, the Spin
button will light up indicating you may
click it to start the wheel spinning.
Once the wheel is spinning you can no
longer add or remove bets. When the wheel
comes to a stop, the winning number is
determined by what numbered compartment
the ball comes to rest in. If you placed
a bet on that number, or a bet on any
position that spans that number, you will
win the appropriate payout (see Payouts
).
To
quickly replace all the bets made from
the previous spin, click the Rebet
button. The Rebet
button will cause all your previous bets
to be added to any new bets you may have
placed on the table assuming your balance
has sufficient funds.
To quickly remove all the bets from the
table, click the Clear Bets
button.
